Microsoft Office is undoubtedly the best of the office application suites available. The main advantage of Microsoft products is that they are great in appearance and interface. The Office 2010 is built with the new and powerful .Net framework. Similar to the Office 2007 style, it uses what is called the "Ribbon" interface.

Well, just say that this is an enhanced version of the previous one, with many bugs fixes. One of the problems, which always showed "file not found" with "There was a problem sending command to the program", is now solved. Since all of the programs and operating systems are now shifting towards the 64 bit platform, Office is doing so as well. The 64 bit Office 2010 is very fast. Well, unlike the Adobe and Nero softwares, Microsoft Office is not bloatware.

Office 2010 includes Microsoft Publisher along with the Office Suite. The other applications include the usual MS Access, Excel, Power Point, OneNote, and the good old MS Word. MS OneNote is a new addition which came with the 2003 versions. This is just an application to keep records of notes while we are at a lecture, class, or to organize our thoughts, etc. 2003 version was quite difficult to manage, but 2010 version is great as there is a huge improvement in the overall speed of the applications.

Microsoft Publisher is a great tool if you are a novice to HTML programming and website designing. You don't need to know anything about HTML. Just start with the templates available, and you will get your website. But if you are a programmer planning to edit the HTML code, well, it can be quite tiring because it uses all kinds of activeX resources of Microsoft Office to implement the graphics in the web page.

Access is the Database application, very easy to use. Excel is the best of the spreadsheet programs. It includes more features than any other to simplify our work.

If you are used to working with Office 2003 for example, the new style can be quite confusing. But you will soon find out that it is the best.

Since this is a beta version, we can expect more improvements from the developer.
